FRANKLIN, Mass. – October 20, 2023 – The Dean College men's soccer team played to a 0-0 draw against Lasell in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) match Friday afternoon during homecoming weekend.

Dean celebrated senior day by honoring Alberto Gonzalez Del Rio (Madrid, Spain), Bryce King (Athol, Mass.), Ryan Bell (Palmyra, Maine), Andrew Dalton (Norton, Mass.), Reinorf Kusi (Malden, Mass.), Sean Doherty (Chelmsford, Mass.), Luke Palmer (Windsor Locks, Conn.) and Juliano Silva (Cumberland, R.I.).

Dean finishes the regular season with an unbeaten record of 6-0-2 at home. The Bulldogs (9-3-3, 7-3-3 GNAC) play a regular season finale at Albertus Magnus on Tuesday with a 7 p.m. start. Lasell (3-9-3, 3-7-3 GNAC) wraps up the regular season at home on Tuesday with a 3:30 p.m. match against New England College.

The match was evenly played throughout with each team having a couple of great scoring chances that were thwarted by the opposing keeper.  

The Bulldogs played the final 30 minutes with a man advantage but were kept off the scoreboard for the 0-0 draw.

Dean ended with a 16-12 edge in shots, while each side took five corner kicks.

Gonzalez Del Rio made five stops to preserve his fifth clean sheet of the season. Junior keeper Cameron McDonough (Melrose, Mass.) finished with three saves for Lasell.
