BOSTON, Mass. – October 18, 2023 – The Dean College field hockey team fell at Simmons, 7-0, in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) action Wednesday night.  

Dean (2-14, 1-9 GNAC) plays its final home game of the season on Sunday at 11 a.m. against Johnson & Wales to conclude homecoming weekend. Simmons (11-3, 7-3 GNAC) travels to Anna Maria on Saturday for a 2 p.m. contest.

The Sharks scored single goals in the first, second and fourth quarters, while adding four in the third frame. Anna Tedeschi Sydney Gonyea and Hannah Groves each scored twice to lead Simmons.

Senior Mackenzie Fillion (New Bedford, Mass.) finished with 11 saves for the Bulldogs.
