WESTON, Mass. – January 14, 2023 – The Dean College women's basketball team was defeated by Regis College, 92-45, in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) action Saturday afternoon.
Dean (0-12, 0-7 GNAC) returns home on Tuesday to host the University of Saint Joseph at 7 p.m. Regis (4-9, 4-3 GNAC) begins a four-game road trip on Tuesday with a 5:30 p.m. tip at Lasell.

Amani Pressley (Long Island, N.Y.) led Dean with 13 points and nine rebounds. Sophomore
Tori Viau (Johnston, R.I.) added 11 points. First-year
Carly Rettberg (Haddam, Conn.) contributed six points and five rebounds.
Madi Zancan led six Pride players in double figures with 13 points. She added eight rebounds.

- Regis outscored Dean 32-5.
- Jordyn Striggles scored eight points for the Pride.
- Viau had three points for Dean.

- Dean shot 54.5% (6-11), but Regis made nine baskets for a 19-15 edge on the scoreboard.
- Pressley had five points.
- Dean outrebounded Regis 11-10.

- The Bulldogs shot it well again (5-10).
- Maranda Cournoyer had four points.
- Regis held a 17-11 margin in scoring.

th Quarter
- Regis made 9-of-17 shots for a 24-14 discrepancy in scoring.
- Dean had three players with four points in the quarter.
- The Bulldogs shot 46.2%.
