FRANKLIN, Mass. – January 10, 2023 – The Dean College women's basketball team dropped a non-conference game to Wellesley, 57-14, Tuesday evening inside Pieri Gymnasium.
Dean (0-11) returns to Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) action on Saturday with a 1 p.m. start at Regis. Wellelsey (6-8) begins New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) play on Saturday with a 1 p.m. tip at Coast Guard.

Carly Rettberg (Haddam, Conn.) each had three points for Dean. Sophomore
Maranda Cournoyer (Millville, Mass.) pulled down a team best seven rebounds.
Wellesley was led by junior Jiyun Chae's (Chantilly, Va.) 13 points. Senior Taylor Hirn (Hermosa Beach, Calif.) grabbed a game best 12 rebounds. Junior Anna Greenthal (Orinda, Calif.) finished with 10 points and seven steals.

- Yitzel Serna scored five points for The Blue.
- Cournoyer and Rettberg had buckets for the Bulldogs.

- Wellesley made eight baskets, while Dean went 2-for-8.
