PAXTON, Mass. – September 30, 2022 – The Dean College field hockey team was edged by Anna Maria, 3-0, in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) action Friday evening.
Dean (0-9, 0-4 GNAC) will begin a 5-game homestand on Wednesday with a 3:30 p.m. GNAC contest against Lasell. Anna Maria (3-6, 2-2 GNAC) travels to Colby-Sawyer on Wednesday for a 4 p.m. game.
The AMCATS found the back of the cage as time was expiring in the second quarter. Eden Forget ripped a shot from the top of the circle that crossed the goal line as the halftime buzzer sounded.
Anna Maria added goals from Carly Drew and Ashley Garcia in the third and fourth quarters, respectively, to secure the 3-0 victory.
