CHICOPEE, Mass. - April 29, 2022 - The Dean College baseball team fell to Elms, 6-0, in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) makeup game from March 26. 

The Bulldogs (7-27, 5-11 GNAC) will celebrate senior day on Saturday with a regular season finale doubleheader against Colby-Sawyer at noon. Elms (13-17, 7-9 GNAC) travels to Albertus Magnus tomorrow to wrap up the regular season. 

Elms scored a run in the first on an RBI single from Justin Miller. 

The Blazers added two in the fourth when AJ Cook singled in two teammates. 

Elms doubled its lead in the sixth, scoring three times on a two-run single by George Chaya who later scored on a wild pitch. 

Brayden McLaughlin (Forest Grove, Ore.), Matty Troy (Norwalk, Conn.) and Brian Dovidio (Ramsey, N.J.) each had a hit for the Bulldogs. 

Chaya had two of the Blazers' four hits on the night. 

CJ Kuentzel earned the win on the mound for Elms after six innings of two-hit ball with seven strikeouts.
