WATERVILLE, Maine - April 14, 2022 - Sophomore
Diego Alvarez-Segee (Saugus, Mass.) led 10 Bulldog scorers with four goals in Thursday's 17-2 road win at Thomas.
Dean improves to 9-2 and will play its home finale on Saturday against Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) foe Emmanuel at 3 p.m. Thomas drops to 2-7.
The Bulldogs took control from the opening faceoff. The team scored four times in the first, six times in the second and seven times in the third. Thomas got both of their goals late in the fourth.
Alvarez-Segee finished with five points on four goals and an assist. Sophomore
Alec Speirs (Old Lyme, Conn.) also posted five points with four assists and a goal. Sophomore
Tyler Benedetto (Jupiter, Fla.) won 14-of-16 faceoffs to go with eight ground balls. Four other Bulldogs scored two goals.
Max Irons had both of the Terriers goal. Daniel Guarino made 23 saves in the loss.

Alexander Govoni (Lakeville, Mass.) earned the win with four saves in a half of work.
