FRANKLIN, Mass. – October 16, 2022 – The Dean College men's soccer team played to a 0-0 draw with Fisher on Sunday afternoon at Lippert Field during homecoming weekend.  

Dean (4-6-3) returns to conference play on Tuesday with a 7 p.m. match at Emmanuel. Fisher goes to 2-10-2.

Prior to today's contest, Dean honored seniors Angel Rivera (Atlanta, Ga.), Larry Gbomina (Providence, R.I.), Trevor MacLean (Taunton, Mass.), Ivan Perez (Central Falls, R.I.) and Nick Giglietti (East Haven, Conn.) for their years of dedication to Dean and the men's soccer program.

The match was mostly played in the middle third with neither team getting many scoring opportunities. Dean had a 7-1 margin in shots in the first half and an 8-4 discrepancy in the second to finish with a 15-5 advantage. Four of Dean's shots were on target, while Fisher did not scare the goal.

Dean's Luke Palmer (Windsor Locks, Conn.) led all player with four shots.

The Bulldogs finished with an 8-2 edge in corner kicks.

First-year goalie Jake Godwin (Norwalk, Conn.) earned the clean sheet for Dean and was not tested. Senior Rafael Fabra (Sao Paulo, Brazil) made four saves for Fisher.
