NEW LONDON, N.H. – October 9, 2021 - The Dean College men's soccer team was edged in overtime at Colby-Sawyer, 3-2, in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) contest Saturday afternoon.
Colby-Sawyer goes to 2-7 overall and 2-5 in the conference. The Chargers host Norwich tomorrow for a makeup. Dean falls to 2-9 overall and 1-6 in the GNAC. The Bulldogs play three of their next four games at home beginning on Wednesday against Rivier at 3 p.m.

Bryce King (Athol, Mass.) put the visitors on top in the sixth minute with his second goal of the season.

Kazu Noguchi (Hyogo, Japan) doubled the Bulldogs' lead in the 39
th minute when he finished a pass from senior
Larry Gbomina (Providence, R.I.) for his team leading third goal of the year.
Colby-Sawyer answered less than a minute later with a goal from Mason Galbato to cut the deficit in half.
In the 68
th minute, the Chargers found the equalizer off the foot of Nico Adornetto.
The final 22 minutes remained locked at 2-2 resulting in an extra session.
Midway through the first 10-minute period, Adornetto was in traffic in front of the net and was able to sneak the ball by the Dean keeper to give the Chargers the 3-2 overtime victory.
