NASHUA, N.H. - October 20, 2021 - The Dean College women's soccer team played to a scoreless draw at Rivier on Wednesday evening in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) match. 

Dean goes to 3-7-3 overall and 3-7-1 in the GNAC. The Bulldogs host Elms on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. and the team will celebrate Senior Day. Rivier goes to 2-12-2 overall and 0-9-2 in conference play. The Raiders host Regis on Saturday at 1:30 p.m.

Rivier had a 20-9 shot advantage with an 11-5 discrepancy in shots on goal. Dean first-year goalie Haley Gaunt (Johnston, R.I.) stopped all 11 shots to preserve the clean sheet. Rivier goalie Maya Puma played 45 minutes and had two saves, while Emily Mikelson made three stops in 65 minutes. 

Dean held a 6-5 edge in corner kicks. 

Olivia Maxwell led the Raiders with four shots on goal, while Dean received a pair of shots on goal from Nina Medeiros (Fairhaven, Mass.) and Janey Boldrighini (Fairfield, Conn.).
