CHICOPEE, Mass. - October 16, 2021 - The Dean College field hockey team dropped a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) game at Elms, 9-0, on Saturday evening. 

Dean (1-11, 1-7 GNAC) will host Regis on Wednesday at 3 p.m. Elms (5-8, 4-4 GNAC) hosts Salve Regina on Tuesday.

The Blazers scored twice in the first quarter, once in the second, twice in the third and four times in the fourth. Carissa Ramirez led Elms with a hat trick. Melanie Ward and Nora Newman had two goals apiece. Katie Jones and Ellie Serra each contributed a goal.  

Gabbie Taynor made 31 saves for the Bulldogs in her first career start.
