THE LEAD:
Rivier University scored two goals in each of the first three quarters and the host Raiders posted a 7-0 win over Dean College in non-league field hockey action on Thursday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
Five different student-athletes scored for Rivier, led by Hunter Langley, who finished with a pair of tallies. Meanwhile, teammates Grace Pierce and Felicity Defosses each had a goal and an assist.

Dean was led defensively by netminder Alexis Masse (Woonsocket, R.I.) who, ended with a game-best 15 saves.
