THE LEAD:
Dean College wrapped up its first season as a program in more than 20 years with a 6-0 loss at Anna Maria College in non-league field hockey action on Thursday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
The AMCATS had six different student-athletes find the back of the cage – three in each half. Makayla Fisher (Irvington, N.J.) had the Bulldogs' lone shot, which came in the second half.

Faith Verney (Franklin, Mass.) and Amari Dias (Brockton, Mass.) each played 35 minutes in goal for Dean, making six and eight saves, respectively.
