Sean Cleay enters his fourth season as a Volunteer Assistant Coach. He joined the Dean staff in 2022.
Prior to Dean, he was a three time All-ISL Player at the Rivers School in Weston, Mass. and went on to play at Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster under legendary coach Glenn Robinson (#7 all time, collegiate wins). During his senior year, the Diplomats went 28-3 and played in the Division III National Championship. Over the next 10 years, Cleary worked on the basketball staffs of the Boston Celtics, University of Pittsburgh and Manhattan College where he twice coached in the NBA Playoffs and once in the NCAA Tournament.
After coaching, he went into the corporate world and currently works at Acushnet Company -- the maker of Titleist and FootJoy products in the golf industry.
