Dean College

Joe Webber enters his third season with Dean Baseball after joining the program in 2023. He serves as the Hitting Coach, handling all facets of the offense, as well as being responsible for the outfielders.  

In one year of Webber being in charge of the offense, home runs and stolen bases nearly doubled, and total runs scored went up by 30.

Webber brings playing experience from both NCAA Division II and Division III baseball. He played his freshman year at Saint Michael’s College, where he set the first-year record for stolen bases in a single season. He then transferred to Western New England University where he was a four-year starter. He hit .306 with five home runs during his final season at WNE, as well as hitting .500 during the conference tournament.    

He graduated from Western New England with a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management and a Master’s of Science in Sport Leadership and Coaching.  

Webber is also a 2017 graduate of Bridgton Academy, where he played two years of prep school baseball. He was named Defensive Player of the Year and Valedictorian.
