Dean College

Jeff Sharnick enters his first season as an assistant coach on Ernie May’s coaching staff for the 2021-22 Dean College Bulldogs.

Sharnick is a class of ’21 Bulldog alumnus who, in his playing tenure at Dean, was a three-year captain and was selected to the 2019 NECC All-Conference Second Team. Sharnick was also awarded with multiple academic achievements during his career, including graduating with a perfect 4.0 GPA during his four years at Dean. He was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District Team in 2021. 

Jeff assists in all aspects of the program, where his focuses are hitting and fielding development, practice construction and recruiting.

His previous coaching experience features coaching the elite college development summer program Baseball U Connecticut where his work focused on the development of defensive skills with the catchers. 

Sharnick earned his bachelor’s degree in Sports Management from Dean College in 2021, with a minor in Psychology.
