Roy earned his first nod to the All-ECFC First Team as one of the conference's best defensive linemen. He led Dean and the ECFC with seven sacks. He ranked 56th in Division III in that category. Roy also ranked 6th in the nation with four forced fumbles which led the team and the ECFC. He finished the season with 55 tackles, 34 solo tackles and 21 assists. He ranked seventh in the ECFC in solo and 14th in total tackles. Roy earned one ECFC Defensive Player of the Week award and was named to the D3football.com Team of the Week after week one.
