FRANKLIN, Mass. – The Dean College softball team fell in both their Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) contests with Regis College on Sunday afternoon. With final scores of 8-0 and 10-0, respectively, the Bulldogs dropped to 7-18 (4-9 GNAC). Meanwhile, the Pride improved to 7-19 (4-8 GNAC).

GAME ONE: Regis College 8, Dean College 0
-Regis took control early in the first inning, capitalizing on multiple walks and an error to plate six runs and jump out to a commanding lead.
-The Bulldogs looked to settle in after the early deficit, with Sydnee Ramos (New Bedford, Mass.), Emily Kilpatrick (Marion, Mass.), and Xandra Silva (New Britain, Conn.) each stepping to the plate in the opening frame but were unable to generate offense.
-Dean began to find some rhythm in the third inning, as Ashlee Mastrodomenico (Middleboro, Mass.) recorded a base hit and advanced into scoring position. However, she was ultimately left stranded.
-Regis added to its lead in the third inning, using a leadoff double and RBI single to extend the advantage to 7–0.
-The Bulldogs continued to battle offensively, with Leah Chamberlain (Burlington, Vt.) recording a hit in the fifth inning, while Mastrodomenico reached base again to create traffic.
-Despite the opportunities, Dean was unable to come up with a timely hit, as Regis pitching limited scoring chances throughout the game.
-Regis added an insurance run in the fourth inning to make it 8–0, maintaining control of the contest.
-In the circle, Bryce DeGasparre (Attleboro, Mass.) entered in relief and worked through multiple innings, recording key outs and helping limit further damage after the first.
-Dean continued to compete late, but Regis held on to secure the 8–0 victory.
