Mock, Ramsey Net Hat Tricks; Women’s Lacrosse Stymied in Senior day Matchup with New England College, 21-9

FRANKLIN, Mass. – The Dean College women's lacrosse team was defeated in their senior day game by New England College on Saturday afternoon by a final score of 21-9. With the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) loss, Dean dropped to 1-6 (1-4 GNAC), while the Pilgrims improved to 8-1 (5-1 GNAC).
 
Notables:
-Prior to the game, the Dean College Department of Athletics & Recreation honored the three seniors on the women's lacrosse roster: Alisa Caldeira (West Bridgewater, Mass.), Emma Mock (Tunkhannock, Pa.), and Allie Stockwell (Burrillville, R.I.).

How it Happened:
-Dean came out strong in the early going. Mock opened the scoring to give the Bulldogs a 1–0 lead in the opening minutes.
-New England quickly responded and began to build momentum, stringing together a scoring run to take control of the game in the first quarter.
-The Bulldogs answered during the opening half, with Bella McQuade (Attleboro, Mass.) converting a man-up free-position goal to keep Dean within striking distance.
-Caroline Ramsey (Shreveport, La.) helped the Bulldogs compete in possession, securing draw controls and helping initiate offensive opportunities.
-Despite Dean's efforts, New England continued to capitalize offensively, extending its lead with consistent scoring across the second quarter.
-Dean continued to battle offensively, working through possessions and generating chances, but the Pilgrims carried a sizable lead into halftime.
-The Bulldogs showed resilience in the second half, adding to their total with multiple goals while continuing to push the pace.
-McQuade remained a key contributor offensively, while Ali Murphy (Middleboro, Mass.) and Danielle Reinhard (Las Vegas, Nev.) made impacts with ground balls and defensive plays.
-In goal, Shea Cassani (Belgrade, Maine) faced a high volume of shots and made several saves to keep Dean competing throughout the contest.
-With less than seven minutes remaining, both Ramsey and Mock scored each of their hat trick goals.
-New England maintained control down the stretch, using a balanced attack to secure the 21–9 victory.
