Greenwood, IN- College Sports Communicators has announced that two Dean College Football athletes have been named to the Academic All-District© roster. Those athletes are
Christian Donalson (Albany, GA) and
Corey Leverette (McDonough, GA).
Donalson earns his first nod on the roster after captaining the Bulldogs through the 2025 season. The senior captain competed in nine games, posting 63 total tackles, including 7.5 tackles for loss. He was most recently named to the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Fall Sportsmanship Team.
On the other side, Leverette also earns his first selection to the Academic All-District© roster. The senior lineman competed in all ten games for the Bulldogs this year, posting 50 tackles (10.5 TFL), and 1.5 sacks.
This is the second time in three years in which the football program has been recognized by College Sports Communicators. Four Dean Football players previously made the roster in the 2023 season.
To be an Academic All-District® honoree, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore at their institution and have spent at least one full year at that particular school, have a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or above, and have played at least 66 percent of their team's contests as a starter or important reserve.
Academic All-District® honorees advance to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in early December.
