How It Happened:
-The Bulldogs put the pressure on early. First-year forward Ayomide Talabi (Hamilton, NJ) pushed a shot, but it sailed high and missed the mark. Shortly after, Clay Tyler (Attleboro, MA) recorded back-to-back shots. However, neither of them found the back of the net. Dean continued their search for a score.
-The entire first half consisted of traded blows from both sides. There were multiple fouls, both from Dean and Norwich, including a yellow card from Dean senior Brian Allen (Fort Lauderdale, FL). However, after 45 minutes of action, the score remaining blank at 0-0.
-Second half action opened with much of the same activity from both sides. Chris Tunley (Las Vegas, NV) got a shot for the Bulldogs, but came up short. However, ten minutes into the second half, the Cadets finally broke the scoring. Fuentes found the goal, making it 1-0 Norwich with approximately 30 minutes left.
-Dean held their own for much of the half. However, things fell apart in the final ten minutes. Norwich scored three consecutive goals, each within two minutes of each other. The 4-0 lead would seal the deal, as the Cadets would walk away victorious. Nate Potter (North Bennington, VT) also received a yellow card at the end of the match.
