Men's Basketball Upended in Tuesday Matchup with Framingham State, 77-65

Framingham, MA- The Dean College men's basketball team was taken down on the road on Tuesday night against Framingham State University by a final score of 77-65. With the loss, the Bulldogs drop to 4-3 on the season, while the Rams improve to 5-4 overall. 

How it Happened:
-The opening ten minutes would see the lead go back and forth. First-year Max Shosa (Manchester, NH) would grab Dean's first lead nad points scored on a three-point shot. Shortly after, Randy Vasquez (Methuen, MA) would score on a strong effort underneath the basket. 
-Through the first ten minutes of the game, the Bulldogs also saw scores from both Xavier Rubio (San Diego, CA) and Xavier Boyd (Loganville, GA). The Rams, though, would keep pace and maintain a two point advantage over Dean.
-Framingham State would pull away in the latter portion of the half, scoring a combined 29 points. They also held a lead as high as seven points in the first half. Dean managed to grab a handful of quick baskets at the end of the first half, making it 25-29 going into the locker room. Donnary Fontenot (Atlanta, GA) and Christian Yeates (Atlanta, GA) would contribute offensively in the final minutes.
-Dean would come out of the locker room like a rocket, scoring nine points and cutting the Framingham lead to just one point. Naser Motley (Everett, WA) would continue to shine from the field, while Yeates drilled a three-pointer of his own. The score was 34-35 just three minutes into the second half. 
-However, the Rams continued to control the pace of play through the second half. Seven minutes in, they would see a lead as high as 13 points after dominating in the paint on both sides of the court. 
-Dean would make it a one-point game once again with eight minutes to play in the second half. Yeates and Boyd would lead the charge, scoring on the Rams on multiple baskets from the field. 
-This would be the closest Dean would get for the remainder of the game. The Rams would pull away once again, winning the ballgame by a final score of 77-65.
