How it Happened:

-The Pride would record four more shots in the second quarter, keeping the pressure on the Dean defense. While the Bulldogs played a very strong front, Springfield found the box score in the final two minutes. Ava Coppola scored her first of the game, assisted by Clare Moore, to give the Pride the 1-0 lead going into halftime.
-Junior Hailey Sykes (Pitman, NJ) would takeover in-goal for the Bulldogs to begin the third quarter. Along with the defense, she faced five total shots, making three crucial blocks. One shot was wide of the goal, and the other found the back of the cage. Amber Wolkner was the goal-scorer for Springfield, assisted by Coppola, to give them the 2-0 lead. Coppola also had three points on the day now.
-The Bulldogs turned on the jets in the final quarter, producing five shots around the box. Sydnee Ramos (New Bedford, MA) and Emily Yazzetti (Mahopac, NY) led the charge, but neither were able to score.
