Franklin, MA- The Dean College Department of Athletics & Recreation is pleased to announce the 2025-26 schedules for both Men's and Women's Basketball. Both teams will be competing in their sixth full season in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC).
First, Women's Basketball will hit the road for the first-ever exhibition against an NCAA Division I opponent. They will play at the University of Vermont on Tuesday, November 4
th on ESPN+. They also have an exhibition on November 1
st at Lesley University.
The Women's team will play a total of 25 games, comprised of 14 home and 11 road games. Notable non-conference opponents include Nichols College of November 8
th (Home Opener), Wentworth on November 12
th, and Keene State College on November 18
th.
They will open their GNAC schedule with Rivier University, at home, on Saturday, January 10
th. From there, they will play a total of 12 conference games, leading to their home finale on February 21
st versus Regis College.
On the Men's side, they open the season with a pair of scrimmages on November 2
nd and November 4
th. Both scrimmages will be on the road to Westfield State University and Bridgewater State University, respectively.
The team will open their season at home on Monday, November 10
th, versus Lesley University. Their season is comprised of 25 games, including 15 home and 10 road games.
In addition, their schedule also includes 12 conference contests, beginning with Rivier University on Saturday, January 10
th. They conclude the regular season at home on February 21
st versus Regis College.
Should either team make the GNAC Postseason, the tournament will begin on February 23
rd on the men's side, and February 24
th for the women. Championship games will be hosted on the 27
th and 28
th of the month, respectively.
