Tristyn Williams (Harwich, Mass.) scored twice, first-year
Emily Yazzetti (Mahopac, N.Y.) added two more, and the Dean Bulldogs defeated the Maine-Farmington Beavers, 6-1 Sunday. The Bulldogs six goals set the record for most goals in a game in program history. The win for Dean was the Bulldogs second straight, evening their record at 2-2 on the season. The loss drops Maine-Farmington to 0-4 on the year.
In addition to big days from Williams and Yazzetti, first-year
Emma Gragen (Brattleboro, Vt.) had a goal and two assists, while junior captain
Sydnee Ramos (New Bedford, Mass.) also had a goal. Sophomore
Shea Cassani (Belgrade, Maine) recorded her first collegiate assist. In goal, junior
Allie Stockwell (Burrilville, R.I.) made three saves (four shots), and first-year
Sarah Gardner (Hampstead, Md.) had one save in relief.
Winter Adams scored the lone goal for the Beavers.
Dean outshot the Beavers 16-7 and held a 12-5 edge in penalty corners.
The Bulldogs return to action on Wednesday at Bridgewater St for a 7pm start.
