BABSON PARK, Mass. – September 1, 2023 – The Dean College women's volleyball team dropped both ends of a season opening tri-match hosted by Babson on Friday. The Bulldogs fell to Framingham State and Babson by a 3-0 score.
Dean (0-2) has a quick turnaround with a tri-match at Fitchburg State tomorrow beginning at 11 a.m. The team will play Bay Path at 1 p.m.

Janai Price (Providence, R.I.) paced the Bulldogs with six kills, seven digs and a couple of blocks. Senior
Sari Albury (Nassau, Bahamas) finished with five kills, four digs, three blocks and a pair of aces. Sophomore
Skylar Raskevitz (Easthampton, Mass.) dug up a match best 10 balls.
The Bulldogs hit .321 in the second set with 13 kills, while the Rams came away with 14 kills on .379 hitting to edge out the 25-23 victory. The set was back and forth throughout and tied at 23-23 on an Albury kill. The Rams scored the next two points on a kill and a Dean attack error to secure the victory.
BABSON 3, DEAN 0 – 25-7, 25-16, 25-10
Albury posted three of the team's 10 kills and a block against the Beavers. Raskevitz added a team best six digs to her daily total.
