BOSTON, Mass. - September 3, 2022 - The Dean College men's soccer team dropped a non-conference match at Emerson, 3-0, Saturday evening at Rotch Field.
The Bulldogs (1-1) resume action on Wednesday with a 7 p.m. road game at Fitchburg State. Emerson (1-0-1) plays at Trinity (Conn.) on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
Emerson scored a pair of goals in the first half and added another in the third for the 3-0 victory.
Freshman Chris Moulinos got the home team on the board in the seventh minute. The Lions doubled their lead in the 26th minute on a goal from senior Skyler Start Ragsdale.
In the 65th minute, Emerson added an insurance goal off the foot of Connor Donovan.
Dean had a great scoring chance, two minutes later, when Emerson committed a foul in the box resulting in a penalty kick. The Lions goalie was up to the task and made the save to preserve the three-goal advantage.

Jake Godwin (Norwalk, Conn.) took the loss with three goals allowed and seven saves. Ethan Fitzsimmons earned the clean sheet with five saves for the Lions.
