NEW LONDON, N.H. – September 17, 2022 –The Dean College women's volleyball team dropped a pair of games at a Saturday tri-match hosted by Colby-Sawyer. The Bulldogs fell to the Chargers, 3-1, in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) opener for both teams. Dean was then defeated by Fisher, 3-0.
Dean falls to 2-8 overall and 0-1 in the GNAC. The Bulldogs return home to host Bridgewater State on Tuesday at 6 p.m.

Sari Albury (Nassau, Bahamas) led Dean with nine kills and impressive six blocks. Sophomore
Janai Price (Providence, R.I.) came away with seven kills in her first action of the season. First-year
Caitlin Cooper (Amherst, N.H.) added five kills. First-year
Skylar Raskevitz (Easthampton, Mass.) picked up a match-high 14 digs.
Colby-Sawyer received a match best 20 kills on .390 hitting from Olivia Werner. Ally Majenski added 11 kills, while Ameesah Cotten chipped in with nine. Brooke Patnode ran the offense with 43 assists to go with 13 digs.
FISHER 3, DEAN 0 – 25-20, 25-18, 25-16
Albury led the Bulldogs once again with seven kills on .357 hitting and two blocks. Cooper added four kills to her afternoon. Raskevitz had another 14 digs, while junior
Bella Driscoll (Plymouth, Mass.) collected 13 assists.
Macy Barnes had 12 kills and seven digs for the Falcons. Aya Al-Jiuraishi hit .556 to finish with 11 kills, while Ashly Velazquez contributed eight kills on .444 hitting. Edsyl Irizarry posted a match best 19 digs. Paola Velazquez recorded 26 assists and six aces.
