BRIDGEWATER, Mass. - November 12, 2022 - The Dean College men's basketball team was outshot by Bridgewater State, 98-90, in non-conference action on Saturday evening. 

Dean (1-1) plays at Mitchell on Tuesday, while BSU (2-0) plays at Emerson on Wednesday. 

Mark Blair led the Bulldogs with 24 points, 10 rebounds and six assists off the bench, while AJ Weston poured in 22 points. Malik Spearman added a double-double of 14 points and 10 boards. Nick Grant also reached double figures with 12 points. 

Precious Okoh paced the Bears with 23 points. Emerson Halbeib made 9-of-10 field goal attempts to finish with 21 points to go with a game best 13 rebounds. Dante Kikuba posted a double-double of 10 points and 12 assists. 

BSU shot 54.2% from beyond the arc making 13-of-24 long balls, while Dean only mustered a 3-of-13 performance from beyond the arc. Each team made 15 free throws and the Bears held a 50-44 edge in rebounding.
