NEWTON, Mass. – September 18, 2021– The Dean College women's soccer team was blanked at Lasell, 3-0, in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) action Saturday afternoon.

Lasell improves to 2-2 overall and 2-0 in the GNAC. The Lasers travel to Norwich on Wednesday for a 6:30 p.m. match. Dean dips to 0-2-2 overall and 0-2 in conference action. The Bulldogs return home for a pair of matches next week with Saint Joseph's (ME) on Wednesday and Anna Maria on Sunday.

The home team wasted no time getting on the scoreboard as Alyssa DeOliveira finished a pass from Priscilla Martinelli 26 seconds into the match.

The Lasers doubled their lead five minutes later when Martinelli set up Serena Speight for her first goal of the season.

Lasell tacked on a third goal early in the second half. Marinelli recorded her third assist of the game when she connected with DeOliveira for the second time.

First-year Haley Gaunt (Johnston, R.I.) made nine saves for Dean. Angela Sanzari earned her first win of the season and made one save for Lasell.
