PAXTON, Mass. - October 23, 2021 - The Dean College football team dropped a road Eastern Collegiate Football Conference (ECFC) game at Anna Maria, 45-32, Saturday afternoon at Carposo Field.
Dean goes to 2-6 overall and 1-3 in the ECFC. The Bulldogs return home next Saturday to host SUNY Maritime at noon. Anna Maria improves to 5-1 overall and remains unbeaten in ECFC action at 3-0. The AMCATS play at Castleton next Saturday at 2 p.m.

David Curry (Bethlehem, Ga.) led the Bulldogs with 290 yards passing on 21 of 35 passing with two touchdowns and 38 yards rushing with another two scores on the ground. Junior wide receiver

Ki'sean Bullard (Miami, Fla.) had an 80-yard kickoff return for a touchdown late in the third quarter.
On the defensive side of the ball for the Bulldogs, sophomore
Dre Kidd (Manassas, Va.) registered his team best third interception of the season to go with six tackles and a pass breakup. Senior
Nicholaus Grimaldi (Valrico, Fla.) led Dean with nine tackles.
Anna Maria senior quarterback Alex Cohen (Plymouth, Mass.) threw for five touchdowns for the second time this season while rushing for a sixth. Cohen went 24-for-40 for a career-high 451 yards passing and 39 yards rushing. Sophomore wide receiver Deandre Wallace (Waterbury, Conn.) grabbed eight receptions for 173 yards and two touchdowns. Graduate student wide receiver Hayden Braga (Foster, R.I.) finished with 131 receiving yards off seven catches and one touchdown, while junior wide receiver David Robinson (Boston, Mass.) caught four passes with two scores.
Anna Maria sophomore linebacker Sam Jakana (Coto De Caza, Calif.) led the AMCATS with 11 tackles, 2.5 sacks and a pass breakup behind the line of scrimmage. Graduate student defensive lineman Jude Sampson (Waterbury, Conn.) finished with seven tackles and 1.5 sacks.
