The back and forth affair continued as Curry found Breaux deep down the middle for a 54-yard touchdown connection. The extra point was no good making the score 23-21 Bulldogs.
The home team then received a 25-yard touchdown run from Harvey to put the Bison back on top 28-23 where the score would stand heading into the fourth.
The teams traded rushing touchdowns in the first two drives of the fourth to make the Bulldog deficit 35-29 after another failed PAT.
Gallaudet took its largest lead of the game with 5:29 left to play after a Maccini 6-yard rushing TD put the Bison on top 42-29.
The Bulldogs quickly moved the ball down the field on their next possession, resulting in a 4-yard Bethune touchdown. With the extra point being blocked, Dean's deficit sat at 42-35.
After a defensive stand, the Bulldogs had a chance to tie the game with time running out, but a fourth down conversion failed stalling the drive deep in Gallaudet's territory.
