FRANKLIN, Mass. – October 1, 2021 - The Dean College men's and women's golf programs have signed an agreement with Franklin Country Club to become the Bulldogs' home golf facility.
Franklin Country Club is located two miles from the Dean College campus giving the men's and women's golf teams convenient access to one of the finest private country clubs in New England.
"Having Franklin Country Club as our home course is a great opportunity for us to continue to grow and expand our program," said golf head coach
Austin McCreary '18. "The access to a tour level practice facility is something many schools don't have, so we are very lucky."
The club, which was founded in 1899, features an 18-hole Championship Golf Course, driving range, bunker practice area and a 5000-square-foot putting green.
The course was expanded and redesigned in 1972, by golf course architect Phillip Wogan, to its current par 71, 6,602-yard layout.
