THE LEAD:
Becker sophomore Skyler Tenney scored twice as the host Hawks defeated Dean College, 3-0 on Sunday in New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) women's soccer action at Alumni Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
Tenney broke the stalemate late in the first half when she recovered a deflected pass and sent it home for her first goal of the season just 35 seconds prior to halftime.

She was at it again in the 71st minute, taking a pass from Kristen Beidleman, notching her second of the game, giving Becker a 2-0 advantage.

Kyra Teixeira closed out the scoring when she recovered a rebound from a shot by Meghan Ballentine and blasted it home from 15 yards out for her 12th goal of the season at 75:21.

Dean senior goalkeeper Macy Parisee (East Freetown, Mass.) tallied ten saves in net for the Bulldogs.
