THE LEAD:
Despite 12 saves from senior Emma Morrison (Northport, N.Y.), the Bulldogs fell to Eastern Nazarene 2-0 on Wednesday afternoon on a soggy Longley Field in Franklin, Mass. 

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Eastern Nazarene controlled the pace for much of the first half, but could not break through until 22 minutes in when Kelly Couite (West Bridgewater, Mass.) broke the stalemate with an unnasisted marker.
  
• The match remained scoreless for the next 67 minutes, until Annelise Sherrill (Elk Grove, Calif.) added an insurance tally with two seconds remaining. Couite added the asisst.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

• Dean was outshot 31-7 including 16-1 in the first half.  
• The Bulldogs finished with 12 saves while the Lions registered three.
• Alison Nelson (Candia, N.H.) lead Dean with 3 total shots.
