THE LEAD:
Four different student-athletes scored and host Elms College broke open a close contest midway through the second half on their way to a 4-0 win over Dean College in New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) women's soccer action on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
Even after the Blazers got on the board in the contest's first six minutes when Silvana Tellerico scored her first of the season off of a corner kick, the Bulldogs stayed close the remainder of the half and the start of the second.

Elms did double their advantage in the 56th minute when Mackenzie LaRochelle notched her second of the season with help from Brie Voight and Angelina Estrada.

Voight then took matters into her own hands, finishing with an unassisted score at 75:14. That score was followed by another Blazer marker, this one coming from Jacqueline Soucia less than four minutes later that capped the scoring.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
Elms held a 38-0 edge in shots and a 6-0 advantage in corner kicks. Macy Parisee (East Freetown, Mass.) ended with 12 saves – her fourth straight contest with at least 11 stops.

UP NEXT:
The Bulldogs embark on a busy week on Monday with a trip to Rhode Island College for a non-conference meeting at 6:00 p.m.
