Colleen Fussell, ATC, LAT

Colleen Fussell, MS, ATC, LAT enters her second academic year in 2025 with the Bulldogs as an Athletic Trainer. Previously, she served as the Athletic Trainer for Lightweight Rowing at Boston University. Colleen delivers holistic, evidence-based care to NCAA Division III student-athletes, facilitating collaborative care plans among medical teams, coaches, and academic administrators.

With a Master of Science in Athletic Training from Ohio University and a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training with a minor in Applied Dance from the University of Tampa, Colleen is uniquely equipped to bridge the gap between sports medicine and the performing arts. She previously served as the Interim Performing Arts Athletic Trainer at Dean College, where she provided backstage and clinical care for performers and managed a wide range of health services tailored to artists' physical and mental demands.

Colleen’s leadership experience includes her role at PT Solutions Physical Therapy in Tampa, FL, where she managed a team of athletic trainers and spearheaded staff development, recruitment, and clinical documentation practices. She has also worked in per diem roles with Mass General Brigham, Premier Sports Medicine, and AdventHealth, supporting athletes at high-profile youth and high school tournaments nationwide.

Certified in dry needling, Graston technique, and CPR/AED, Colleen holds active licensure in Massachusetts, Florida, and Vermont. She is a proud member of NATA and PAATS, and is known for her empathetic, empowering approach to care—guided by her mission to uplift others through genuine kindness and high clinical standards.
