WARWICK, R.I. - April 13, 2024 - The Dean College golf team resumed action at the Rhode Island College Spring Invitational on Saturday at Valley Country Club.
 
Dean finished fourth out of five teams with a score of 373. Rhode Island College finished first (337) followed by Emmanuel in second (340) and Worcester State in third (350).

RESULTS

Senior Gian Abbonizio (Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.) led Dean by placing fourth overall in the tournament that featured 24 competitors. He posted an 81. 

Sophomore Matt Brangiforte (Wrentham, Mass.) and junior Adrian Paul (New Bedford, Mass.) each shot a 90 to finish t-12th. 

Junior Liam O'Neill (Taunton, Mass.) carded a 112, while junior Sam Sundstrom (Townsend, Mass.) came away with a 114.
