WESTFIELD, Mass. – September 20, 2023 – Dean College sophomore Michael Keefe (Milford, Mass.) shot a 3-over par 74 to lead the Bulldogs at the Brett Williamson Invitational Tournament hosted by Westfield State University at Tekoa Country Club on Wednesday.   

The Bulldogs posted a team score of 327 to place fourth out of 10 teams competing at the par-71, 6,438-yard layout. RESULTS

Keefe finished second overall out of the 50-player field, just two strokes behind the tournament winner from MCLA. He had a couple of birdies on the front to card a 38 and came in with a 36 including two more birdies.

Sophomore Matt Brangiforte (Wrentham, Mass.) had an 81, while junior Adrian Paul (New Bedford, Mass.) finished next with an 85.

Senior Gian Abbonizio (Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.) carded an 86, while first-year Jonathan Follmer (Sudbury, Mass.) rounded out the lineup with a 90.

The Bulldogs are off until the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Championship on Oct. 9-10 at New Haven Country Club.
