WARWICK, R.I. – September 14, 2023 - The men's golf team competed at the Rhode Island College Fall Invitational on Thursday at Valley Country Club.   

The Bulldogs finished in third place with a total score of 335, five shots behind the tournament host. Roger Williams came away with the team win with a score of 304.

Sophomore Michael Keefe (Milford, Mass.) finished fourth out of the 15-player field with a score of 77 in his Dean debut.

Sophomore Matt Brangiforte (Wrentham, Mass.) was tied for eighth with an 80 on the par-72 course that measured 6,526 yards.

Junior Adrian Paul (New Bedford, Mass.) shot an 87 for 11th place.

Senior Gian Abbonizio (Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.) posted a 91 and first-year Jonathan Follmer (Sudbury, Mass.) had a 93 to finish t-12th and 14th, respectively.

The Bulldogs will hit the course next Wednesday at the Brett Williamson Invitational hosted by Westfield State at Tekoa Country Club.
