BOSTON, Mass. – October 14, 2023 - The Dean College women's cross country team raced at the Suffolk Invitational held at Franklin Park on Saturday afternoon.   

RESULTS

Sophomore Kokoro Okada (Japan) led the Bulldogs with a time of 35 minutes flat in a race that featured more than 230 runners.  

Junior Tanya Spengler (Vienna, Va.) came away with a time of 36:28 on the 6k course.

Junior co-captain Emma Cotsonas (Jamestown, R.I.) posted a time of 38:10.  

Sophomore Isabella Nitschke (Watertown, Mass.) clocked in at 43:22.

Sophomore Helen Sanford (Deerfield, Mass.) rounded out the Bulldogs' competitors with a time of 43:31.  

The Bulldogs are back on the course in two weeks when the team competes at the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Championship hosted by Saint Joseph's College of Maine on Sunday, Oct. 29.
