Dean junior Mozes Mooney (San Diego, Calif.) was pressed into quarterback duties and went 14-of-22 for 231 yards and a touchdown. Mooney was named the Thomas "Butchie" Williams '75 Homecoming Game Most Valuable Player. The award is named after a former student-athlete who passed away tragically on Homecoming in 1974 and is handed out annually to the Dean football student-athlete who is selected as to have had the most impact on the contest.
