Powell led the Bulldogs last week with 16.7 points per game. He shot 47.8% from the floor and added 5.0 rebounds, 2.3 steals and 1.7 assists per game. He began the week with nine points at #7 Saint Joseph. In a tough 66-56 road loss at Johnson & Wales, Powell scored a team best 23 points on 10-20 shooting. Powell then scored a team-high 18 points and grabbed eight rebounds to help lead Dean to its first GNAC win, a 64-61 triumph over Regis.
