Newsom averaged a double-double of 13.7 points and 10 rebounds per game to help the men's basketball team to a 3-0 week. He shot 68% from the floor. Highlighting the week was a 12-point, 13-rebound performance in 41 minutes as the Bulldogs earned a 91-90 overtime win against Regis in the GNAC opener.
