THE LEAD:
Visiting Regis College scored all three of the game's goals in the first 25 minutes of action and then never looked back posting a 3-0 win over Dean College in non-league men's soccer action on Wednesday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
The Pride opened up the scoring in the 12th minute when Ken Niyonzima connected with Fabyanno Furbino on a beautiful pass to the left side of the box and he slipped a shot past Bryce Antoch (Cranston, R.I.) for an early, 1-0 lead.

That advantage doubled when some activity in the box saw the ball bounce around and find its way to Furbino who sent a rolling shot into the back of the net at 23:12.

The game's final goal came less than two minutes later when Jared Barroso delivered a wonderful feed to Niyonzima who was able to maneuver around a diving Antoch and the fire a shot into the back of the net before a sliding Dean defender could stop it.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
Regis held a 31-2 edge in shots as Pride netminder Freddie Beckmann needed to only make one save to record his first win and shutout of the season. Antoch, meanwhile, turned aside 11 shots in his 90 minutes in net for the Bulldogs.

UP NEXT:
The Cardinal and White return to action on Saturday when they play host to Lesley University beginning at 11:00 AM.
