Sophomore Paulo Correia (Fogo, Cape Verde) continued his torrid pace, scoring three goals to help power the Bulldogs past Lyndon State 7-0 on Wednesday in non-league action in Lyndonville, Vt.

Kyle Lameiras (Attleboro, Mass.) scored his first goal of the season eight minutes into the match, finishing off a pass from Luke Palmer (Windsor Locks, Conn.).  Lyndon held the Bulldogs scoreless for the next 33 minutes, but just before the half Correia struck fire, scoring two goals in less than two minutes to give Dean a 3-0 halftime cushion.

Reinorf Kusi (Mattapan, Mass.) opened the scoring in the second half, delivering off a feed from Zeki Zai (Shaker Heights, Ohio) to give the Bulldogs a 4-0 lead with six minutes gone in the second half.  Five minutes later Correia potted his third of the day, assisted by Lameiras and Kusi.

Dean tacked on two more insurance goals when Kusi and Lameiras found the back of the net in the 65th and 69th minutes.

Sophomore Bryce Antoch (Cranston, R.I.) made six saves for the Bulldogs, earning the shutout victory. Dean outshot Lyndon 30-6 and held a 9-4 lead in corner kicks.

Correia's three goals give him six on ths season.  He leads the team and is tied for first in the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC).

The Cardinal and White have won two straight and three of their first four.

Lameiras' goal was his first since the 2016 season, in which he made eight starts and scored two goals and two assists.  After an injury forced him to miss all of 2017, he appeared in five games in 2018, making one start.

Dean is back on the pitch Saturday when they host Worcester State at 12:00 p.m.
