THE LEAD:
Salve Regina had three players top the 20-point plateau and the host Seahawks sprinted past Dean College, 99-68, in non-league men's basketball action on Sunday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
SRU shot a sizzling 67 percent from the field in the victory, including connecting on 11 of 17 three-point attempts as they scored their most points in a game since a double overtime loss to Mitchell back in December of 2017.

In front 47-33 at the half, Salve Regina shot an incredible 82 percent in the second half (22-for-27) on their way to 52 points in the final 20 minutes.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
The Bulldogs shot 43 percent from the field for the game and connected on just 25 percent of their three-point attempts (6-for-24) and were outrebounded, 38-22.

D'caran Anderson (Compton, Calif.) came off the bench to score a team-best 17 points in just 21 minutes, while Jordan Booker (Waterbury, Conn.) ended with 16 points, six assists and five steals.

Jordan Lynch-Rexroth (Harrisburg, Pa.) added 12 points and seven rebounds for Dean and Tyrone Smith-McCray (Brockton, Mass.) totaled eight points and five rebounds in his first career start.

The Bulldogs are back in action on Thursday when they travel to Bridgewater State for a non-conference showdown with the Bears. Tipoff is slated for 7:00 PM.
