THE LEAD:
Senior Jordan Booker (Waterbury, Conn.) and junior Kevin Clark (Miami Gardens, Fla.) combined for 47 points and junior Traijan Powell (Sierra Vista, Calif.) helped key a game-changing second half run as Dean College raced past Framingham State, 88-74, in non-league men's basketball action on Friday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
Down 46-37 at halftime, the Bulldogs erupted in the second half, outscoring the Rams, 51-28 in the final 20 minutes as they connected on 52 percent of their shots in the frame and forced 15 second half FSU turnovers.

The game turned when Dean opened the second stanza on an 18-1 run as Booker drilled a pair of three-pointers, Powell knocked in another and Clark made a pair of acrobatic layups.

During the run, the Rams committed five turnovers, missed five shots and only made a free throw during a more than five minute span.

The Bulldog advantage ballooned to as many as 14 after a Clark triple made it 67-53 with a little more than ten minutes left and it stayed that way until Framingham State made one final push, getting to within ten at 80-70 following a Tyri Hampton three-pointer.

Dean kept the Rams at bay as Powell knocked down another three-pointer and Booker setup Josh Croskey (Birmingham, Ala.) for an easy basket that put the game away at 85-72 with less than two minutes to play.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
The game was sloppy, with the teams combining for 52 turnovers and 12 missed free throws.
