THE LEAD:
Sheridan Blaha
found the back of the cage four times to lead visiting Regis College to a 6-0 win over Dean College in non-league field hockey action on a rainy Wednesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
The Pride scored two goals in each of the first three quarters to take command of the game and snap their brief two game losing streak.

After Blaha scored a pair of goals in the first quarter, Joslyn O'Brien and Blaha tacked on scores in the second frame to send Regis into halftime ahead, 4-0.

The Pride then got the fourth score of the game from Blaha and then a tally from Hope Celli midway through the third quarter.

Dean freshman netminder Alexis Masse (Woonsocket, R.I.) turned aside 13 shots for the Bulldogs while her counterpart, Hope Winkin recorded her second shutout of the season in the win.

UP NEXT:
The Bulldogs open up New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) action with a home contest on Saturday against Maine-Farmington.
