THE LEAD:
Aminah Tsongah
led all student-athletes with ten kills and 11 digs and the University of Saint Joseph posted a 3-0 win over Dean College in non-league women's volleyball action on Tuesday evening.

The win for the Blue Jays evens their record at 5-5, while the Bulldogs slip to 2-7.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
The first set looked to be the toughest of the three with USJ squeaking out a 25-22 triumph and then followed that up with a 25-15 victory in the second frame. They then closed out the match with a 25-19 decision in the third game – their third win in their last four matches.

In addition to Tsongah, Nina Lestrund and Shannon Carey each had six kills and Nyah Young doled out 16 assists.

Senior Kait Anderson (Clinton, Conn.) led the Bulldogs with eight kills and six digs, while Melanie Rios-Nevarez (Vega Alta, Puerto Rico) ended with six kills, four digs and three service aces of her own.
